We simply believe nothing begins without jumping or leaping.
Step forward while fully utilizing the imagination is the common philosophy among the members that come together in our lab.
We conduct fieldwork
to explore vernacular knowledge, building practices, and human-environment relationships. Through research, design, and community engagement, we seek to understand how people create, inhabit, and transform their living environments.
We believe
that fieldwork is the foundation of architectural research. Through direct engagement with people and places, we learn to understand both ourselves and others beyond cultural boundaries.
We welcome
tudents who are willing to explore the unknown, embrace intercultural experiences, and challenge themselves through independent inquiry and field-based learning.
