GPBL WorkShop in Chiang mai, Thailand, launched. The work shop titled as "

Eco Museum in THN Village" will be co designed with Chiang mai University and Mae jo University and from SIT, 22 students will join the programe.

The aim of this workshop is to repair the roof, renovate exhibits, and renovate the exterior of the main eco museum facility, which opened in 2019 in THN village.

Students will spend time in a village with staying over nights, learning about and experiencing traditional Tai Kheun houses and rituals held inside and outside of the house.

The ancient capital of Chiang Mai is also the site for workshop. On the latter half part of the period, students will make design survey in the city to find out the challenges and try to propose the solution for the revitalization and preservation in the old town by the design.

In the previous visit in last August, we came to know that the timber frames for the roof structure were damaged by termite and rain. This is cause to coordinate this workshop.
